Why has Integrative Peptides PURE BPC-157™ Delayed Release been discontinued?
Integrative Peptides was incubated out of Holtorf Medical Group, a four clinic practice (and also the testing grounds for our latest peptide, Integrative Peptides TB4-FRAG™, which contains the active fragment of the larger peptide Thymosin Beta 4). We found there to be no meaningful difference between either form of BPC-157, likely because of its excellent gastric stability. It did, however, create a lot of confusion for healthcare providers and the general public. We apologize for the inconvenience, but for the moment we have decided to discontinue the delayed-release version.
3. What is BPC-157?
BPC-157 is a peptide composed of 15 amino acids (for those mathematically inclined that is called a Pentadecapeptide). Coined “Body Protection Compound”, BPC-157 was originally discovered in the 1970s. BPC-157 has become a go-to supplement for many health care providers, particularly in the Integrative, Naturopathic, and Chiropractic space. Instead of paying $600 to a compound pharmacy, taking your chances with an overseas supplier whose testing you can’t trust because of the risks of contaminants and toxic by-products, or being fooled into purchasing fake BPC-157, you can buy it today (buy now)!
4. What is BPC-157 used for?
BPC-157 is used widely for many things. FDA guidelines limit what we can say about it’s use, but encourage those curious to ask your doctor or turn to google and pubmed.
5. Should BPC-157 be taken with or without food?
BPC-157 is gastrically stable and can be taken with or without food.
6. What is the purity of the BPC-157?
We are very proud of the purity of our peptides. Every production run differs, but our current lot is 99.5%. To receive a testing report please email us at email@example.com We are happy to share.
7. What about dosing?
We recommend 1 capsule twice a day with or without food. However, as a physician, we defer to your clinical experience.
8. How is your product different from other BPCs?
Integrative Peptides BPC-157 is the first and only BPC-157 supplement on the market. The BPC in BPC-157 stands for Body Protection Compound. Make sure when you buy that you are getting Body Protection Compound, and genuine BPC-157. Some sellers may use the acronym that can cause confusion and have people thinking that they are ordering BPC-157 when they are not.
9. What about BPC-157 and the therapeutic benefits/concerns of being pro-angiogenic?
Some studies suggest BPC-157 can cause activation and up-regulation of VEGFR2. Other things that have similar activation of VEGFR2 include Vitamin D, Statins, and Milk. To address this concern, we recommend consulting your physician.
