Frequently Asked Questions

Product Information

1. What is BPC-157?

BPC-157 is a peptide composed of 15 amino acids (for those mathematically inclined that is called a Pentadecapeptide). Coined “Body Protection Compound”, BPC-157 was originally discovered in the 1970s. BPC-157 has become a go-to supplement for many health care providers, particularly in the Integrative, Naturopathic, and Chiropractic space.

2. What is BPC-157 used for?

BPC-157 is used widely for many things, however FDA guidelines limit what we can say about it’s use. We highly encourage any one interested in BPC-157, to ask their health care provider or do their independent research.

Instructions

3. Should BPC-157 be taken with or without food?

BPC-157 is gastrically stable and can be taken with or without food. Some reports indicate that absorption is better on an empty stomach.

4. What is the purity of Integrative Peptides BPC-157?

Even though production runs can vary, we are extremely proud to report that our BPC-157 is at or above 99% purity. Testing reports are available upon request. Please contact us at cs@integrativepeptides for more information.

Instructions

5. How do I take BPC-157?

We recommend 1 capsule twice a day with or without food.

Product Information

6. How is your product different from other BPC-157s?

Integrative Peptides BPC-157 is the first and only BPC-157 supplement on the market. It is important to confirm that you are buying genuine BPC-157 as other sellers use the ‘BPC’ acronym for other substances to trick buyers. Also, be wary of products marked “for research purposes only”, “not for human consumption”, etc, as there can be tremendous cause for concern regarding safety, purity, contamination, authenticity, and other issues.

Products

7. What about BPC-157 and the therapeutic benefits/concerns of being pro-angiogenic?

Some studies suggest BPC-157 can cause activation and up-regulation of VEGFR2. Other things that have similar activation of VEGFR2 include Vitamin D, Statins, and Milk. To address this concern, we recommend consulting your physician.

Product Information

8. Why has Integrative Peptides PURE BPC-157™ Delayed Release been discontinued?

We found there to be no meaningful difference between either form of BPC-157, likely because of its excellent gastric stability. It did, however, create a lot of confusion for healthcare providers and the general public. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we decided to discontinue the delayed-release version

Product Information

9. Are oral supplements bioavailable?

Integrative Peptides has gone through extensive research and manufacturing processes to ensure that our peptides are effective and easily absorbed in the system. While no oral administration of any product is more bioavailable than intravenous or intramuscular injection, we have adjusted our dosing to ensure therapeutic benefit without the hassle of puncturing the skin. Our products are easily transportable and provider an alternative solution to injections.
